Petit tour à Watson Lake où il y a la célèbre forêt des panneaux. Les canadiens sont marrants, ils ont de la forêt partou... et aux endroits où il n'y en à pas, ils en créént une virtuelle. Bref, tout à commencé un jour de 1942 (des temps immémoriaux sur ce continent), un GI américain qui construisait la Alaska highway (les USA ont fourni hommes et budgets pour construire cette route) avait le mal du pays. Il a donc planté un panneau avec le nom de sa ville d'origine et le nombre de km l'en séparant.... Le premier des quelques 72 000 panneaux la composant.
At Watson Lake, there is a sign post forest: canadian people are really funny, there is forest everywhere in there hudge country, and when there is not... They build a fake one. oO. once upon time of 1942 ( really old time for you guys!) a homesick US GI who works on the highway (USA gave mens and cash to build this road) planted the first sign with his city and # of km...There is now more than 72 000 signs.
